Sen Ohsuga
The style of my early and current works is quite different. At the moment I often include bird motifs, but they are birds of my imagination and not the more traditional cranes or doves. When I work, I have no particular bird in mind; rather I aim to express the essence of bird…I want to get near the true nature of birds. The figure of a bird craning its neck overlaps with my inner image.
