I am very happy to have received the Japan Kōgei Association Incentive Award at the 72nd Japan Traditional Kōgei Exhibition. I made a form of a three-leaf clover by assembling 90 bamboo parts of varying widths and thicknesses to create a resonant harmony. The way the parts are connected and resonate is a symbol of the interaction of people and time. I hope you will feel the harmony that the strength and resilience of bamboo creates.
