I used to soak thread in pigment to paint my artwork. In my early days, I used color gradation, but after making many pieces, I thought I could create designs with limited colors and shapes, and completed this piece.
I was very surprised to receive this award.
I hope I will be able to continue my creations and improve my artwork in the Japan Kōgei Association.
