Comment on Award

The theme of this piece is the sea of Noto. On the top of the box, I drew designed wave patterns with black urushi lacquer on a silver base. I decorated the sides with chinkin and inlay techniques using burned tin powder. I changed the thickness of the lines of the waves and I used dot engraving and curves to create a gradation. I focused on making an elegant piece using black and silver. The inside is three-tiered, with silver patterns of sea foam.
