About the Artwork
About black persimmon:
Persimmon wood is usually white, but on rare occasions, the persimmon wood reacts to the soil components, producing black stripes in the wood.
You can feel the mystery of nature as some of the black patterns come out beautifully like ink paintings. Such persimmon wood is very rare and is said that only one out of 10 thousand persimmon trees turn out this way.
