I am very grateful to receive the Shimane Governor Award. Thank you very much.
I always wanted to express the beautiful sunset of Lake Shinji in the form of a kimono. I spent my days watching the great nature change by the minute.
I tried to express the sunset that I saw by weaving plant-dyed raw silk thread in translucent horaro weave.
I will continue to make my artwork while valuing the materials. Thank you very much for your continuous support and guidance.
