Comment on Award
On making this piece, I thought it would be difficult to make the parts around the legs if I made the mold in the regular way, so I tried a different way with my experience of making rings for tea kettles. I fixed the warps and distortions that occured when heated by hammering, and formed the legs so that they could be adjusted later. I think I have finally started to master what I've learned from other artists in the Association, and the techniques that I succeeded from my father and master.
I will continue further studies and strive to make artworks that I can be satisfied with going forward. Thank you very much.
