Comment on Award
I produce artwork using shibuichi, a copper-silver alloy unique to Japan, to make the most of its characteristics.
In my recent years, I have been interested in the Jomon period, and have been trying to incorporate elements of the Jomon period in my artwork. As a result, I came up with this unique form.
I always try to make the most of the material on making my artwork. Thank you very much for this award.
