    Style

    The technique of engraving metal using the traditional chasing technique "Hatsuri Tagane" is called "Hatsuri Bori". I try to express the wind, waves and energy to burst out into the sky and space using the "Hatsuri".

      Graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Design
      Studied under Ayao Yamana, Ayako Kuroki, and Mitsuo Masuda

      Established the Otsuki Kobo (studio)

      Selected for the 22nd Traditional Kōgei New Works Exhibition, selected consecutively from this year onward
      Selected for the 12th Metalworks Traditional Kōgei Exhibition, selected consecutively from this year onward
