    Style

Producing artwork using a technique called "painted kinma". Painted kinma is a technique where patterns are drawn on the black lacquered vessel with red lacquer using a makie brush. Transparent Bitchu urushi is applied, and the vessel is polished to bring out the pattern. I make most of my artwork using dry lacquer.
