    Style

    I create original artwork by adding various coloring techniques to ancient sue stoneware.
    The themes of my artwork vary from very small things in nature to the creation of the universe.

      Born in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture
    • 1997
      Studied under Bizen artist Yoshimoto Shuho
    • 2000
      Established a semi-underground anagama kiln and became independent
    • 2005
      Established a split-firewood kerosene kiln and has been endeavoring to perfect his style of ceramics
    • 2008
      Selected for the Chūgoku Traditional Kōgei Exhibition for the first time (selected every year from this year onward)
    • 2009
      Selected for the Japan Traditional Kōgei Exhibition
    • 2020
      Selected for the Japan Ceramic Society "Modern Ceramics Encouragement Prize" Chugoku Shikoku Exhibition
