Style

KONDO expresses the beauty of weaving and materials by combining two techniques: tate-zurashi kasuri (sliding warp ikat yarn backward and forward) to create patterns and ayaori (twill weaving) to give variation to the weave.

Biography

• 1966
  Graduated from the Department of Design at the Joshibi University of Art and Design (Received the Ataka Award)
  Works as graphic designer (Second place in the Asahi Advertising Awards)
