Style

My specialty is woodwork. I try to fuse and harmonize the natural beauty of wood with forming techniques such as wood joinery and turning, and decorating techniques such as inlay and wiped urushi.

    Born in IiokaTown, Kaijo County, Chiba Prefecture (current Asahi City)

    Graduated from University of Tsukuba, Master's Program in Education
    Presented artwork at the Kofukai Art Exhibition, Nihon Shinkogei Exhibition, and the Japan Fine Arts Exhibition (Nitten) etc ( -1980s)

    Selected for the 26th West Japan Traditional Kōgei Exhibition for the first time (selected 34 times up to Sep. 2025 from this year onward)
