• 1974
  Studied under makie artist Jo Ishibashi in Hakui City, Ishikawa
  Studied under Matsuta Yamaguchi, Important Intangible Cultural Property of Okayama Prefecture
• 2000
  Restored the coloring of the miniature shrine in the Monjudo of Chionji Temple, Amanohashidate
  Restored the urushi lacquering in the Kujaku Room of Oshoin Palace, Sasayama Castle (Tamba, Kyoto)
  Restored the coloring of the statue of Sekishu Katagiri stored at Daitokuji Temple (Kyoto)
  Restored shoshanuri in Himeji, Hyogo
• 2001
  Restored the urushi painting of the pedestal of the Buddhist statue, an Important Cultural Property of Yamaguchi Prefecture in Gentoin, Yamaguchi
  Restored the urushi lacquering and coloring of Kasugataisha Shrine, Wakamiya (Nara)
  Submitted to the 3 Traditional Crafts Artists Exhibition at Himeji Shosha Art and Craft Museum

  Restored the coloring of the Buddhist statue and pedestal at Hoshunin, Daitokuji Temple (Kyoto)
  Restored the urushi lacquering of the canopy for the National Treasure, Buddha's Footprint Stone in the Daikodo (Large Lecture Hall) of Yakushiji Temple (Nara)
  Producing battledore with makie designs of scenes from the Tale of Genji, the main prize for the award winners of the Himeji City Tetsuro Watsuji Cultural Award, every year.

  Restored the coloring of the 5 shrines in Nangu Taisha, an Important Cultural Property of Gifu prefecture
