    Biography

    • 1975
      Tsubame City (former Yoshida Town), Niigata Prefecture
    • 1994
      Joined Gyokusendo Co., Ltd.
    • 2001
      Studied under Norio Tamagawa (Living National Treasure, Hammering) and learned the mokumegane technique
    • 2003
      Submitted to and selected for the first time at the 43rd Traditional Kōgei New Works Exhibition (selected 6 times from this year onward)
      Submitted to and selected for the first time at the 50th Japan Traditional Kōgei Exhibition (selected 4 times from this year onward)
    • 2009
      Becomes Full Member of the Japan Kōgei Association
    • 2010
      Submitted to and selected for the first time at the 39th Metalwork Traditional Kōgei Exhibition (selected 3 times from this year onward)
    • 2016
      Specially submitted to "North America Mokume-gane Exhibit in Japan 2016" held at the Tsubame Industrial Materials Museum and Yamawaki Gallery (Tokyo)
