    Biography

    • 1971
      Graduated from Miyagi Daini High School and Hokkaido University, School of Science
      Studied under Koichi Okumura in Kyoto
    • 1976
      Built a kiln in Miyagi Town, Miyagi County (current Sendai City)
    • 1977
      First Solo Exhibition at Jujiya, Sendai (up to 2002, 22 times)
      Selected for the 4th Musashino Traditional Kōgei Exhibition (4 times)
    • 1978
      Selected for the 18th Traditional Kōgei New Works Exhibition (14 times)
